Jocelyn Becker is wondering why someone stole from her organization that helps put pets into permanent homes.

"Shock," she said. "All I saw was the lock cut on the ground, trailer gone."

Becker is president of Okie Pet Rescue, located near 116th Street North and Garnett in Owasso. There are still marks in the ground where the foot of the trailer was dragged behind the business.

"It's pretty hidden," said Becker. "Someone had to have been over here previously or just driving right on the road out there to see it down the alleyway."

Becker said the trailer carries a lot of supplies used during pet adoption events. It would take thousands of dollars to replace it all.

"Large crates, puppy pens," she said. "There were totes of things we had for sale. There was also our tents."
