Trailblazing Collingwood premiership hero Mason Cox has revealed his time at the club has come to an end.

Cox, 34, revealed on Instagram that he hasn’t been offered a contract for next year.

The American played 10 games this year, including both finals — the qualifying final win over Adelaide and preliminary final loss to Brisbane.

His delisting brings an end to a remarkable 10-year stint at the Magpies.

Cox joined the club in 2014 as an international rookie and went on to play 139 games.

The 2011cm giant famously debuted on Anzac Day 2016, kicking the first goal of the game in front of 85,082 people at the MCG.

As well as being a member of the 2023 premiership side, Cox is perhaps best known for his extraordinary performance in the 2018 preliminary final against Richmond.
