DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- A fire broke out in a Midland City RV park Friday night, prompting a massive response of firefighters and police.
Initial reports show the fire started in the Trojan RV park on Gladiolus Drive, near the Troy University Dothan Campus, along Highway 231, shortly after 9:00 p.m.
Dothan Fire Department Deputy Chief Chris Ethridge tells WDHN that crews were able to get to the scene quickly and extinguish the fire.
A camper was severely damaged in the fire, but no injuries have been reported.
Deputy Chief Ethridge says the fire does not appear suspicious.
