MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — It's almost that time of year. Though we're still feeling the heat on the Gulf Coast, the Salvation Army is preparing for cold temperatures.
Beginning Nov. 3, new coats, blankets, socks, gloves, and scarves will be accepted at Jack's locations in Thomasville, Jackson, Loxley, Citronelle, Brewton, Atmore, and Creola.
Items can also be brought to the WKRG News 5 studio, located at 555 Broadcast Drive in Mobile.
The drive will continue through Jan. 9, 2026. Items will be delivered to local chapters of the Salvation Army to be distributed.
