AKRON, Ohio — Candles, prayers, and tears filled Akron's Highland Square neighborhood Friday night — all for 25-year-old Timothy Hutchinson .
Police say the Wooster native Hutchinson was an innocent bystander, struck by a bullet as two people opened fire on Oct. 5. He later died at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
"He was everything to me and my family, and I know he was everything to a lot of folks here," Hutchinson's sister, Rachel, said during the vigil.
Loved ones paused for a moment of silence, remembering a man known for his loyalty and love. His sister says the community's support has helped their family through the heartbreak.
