West Springfield football turns up defense late, pulls away from Longmeadow

WEST SPRINGFIELD — The West Springfield defense was certainly paying attention at halftime.

Locked in a tie game with visiting Longmeadow at intermission, the Terriers dug in on the defensive side of the ball over the final 24 minutes of Friday’s AA Conference showdown at Clark Field.
