LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Lonnie Hammargren was a Nevada icon, and so is his home.
“I’m just going to show you all the ‘wow’ areas,” Simply Vegas real estate agent Angie Hatcher told FOX5 before giving our crew a tour. “But there are a lot of wow areas.”
Hammargren died two years ago, and now his Castillo del Sol, which means Castle of the Sun, is on the market for the first time in five decades. Its listing price is around $2.5 million.
“This was the first house purchased in 1972, and when this house was purchased, none of this was here,” Hatcher explained. “It was a single-story ranch that started right there on those double doors. This was all added.”
