RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Bondable bail was set at $30,000 for former Reno Police Department Deputy Chief Thomas William Robinson at his first appearance/bail hearing in Reno Justice Court on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Robinson, 52, is among 13 people facing charges related to a child sexual exploitation operation by the Regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking unit.

Robinson’s charges include soliciting a 17-year-old child for prostitution and attempted child abuse for sexual exploitation.

Many of the group appeared in front of Judge Scott Pearson on Saturday.

Robinson’s bail requirement includes no contact with minors.
