HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - In the WYMT ARH game of the week, Martin Co. faced Floyd Central and won, 46-14. The Cardinals have not lost since their season opener against Lawrence County, improving to 7-1.

Jeremy Begley scored the first points of the night for the Cardinals on a rushing touchdown.

Before the end of the first quarter, John Goble scored a two-yard rushing touchdown for the Jaguars, making the score 10-6 in favor of Martin County.

Floyd Central will be back on the gridiron at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24, taking on Knott Co. Central, at home.

Martin County will face Prestonsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 in Inez.
