HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) -We’ve got a lot happening across the Commonwealth this weekend - and yes, plenty brewing in the forecast too!

Saturday actually starts out pretty mild, with morning temps in the 60s and a quick climb into the low to mid 80s by afternoon. Skies stay mostly dry through the day, which is good news if you’re heading to the Kentucky game to tailgate! Expect a gusty southwest wind picking up later in the day.

That warmth is out ahead of our next storm system rolling into the region tonight and into Sunday. Let’s break things down for the overnight:

- Winds: Gusts ramp up overnight and Sunday, reaching 40–45 mph at times, with a few spots near 50 mph possible.

- Storms: Sunday is gusty, rainy, and much cooler. Temperatures tumble through the day, sliding into the upper 40s
