Clifford Proctor Faces Charges in the Shooting of 29-Year-Old Brendon Glenn

Nearly a decade after the fatal shooting of an unarmed man in Venice, authorities have arrested the former Los Angeles police officer accused of pulling the trigger. Former LAPD officer Clifford Proctor , 60, was taken into custody at Los Angeles International Airport this week on a felony murder warrant connected to the 2015 killing of 29-year-old Brendon Glenn, according to multiple media reports.

Proctor is being held on $2 million bail , according to LAPD officials. Court records indicate the warrant was issued in October 2024 after District Attorney George Gascón reopened the case and assigned it to a special prosecutor.
