It’s always heartbreaking to see dogs in shelters, but it’s especially painful when it happens to seniors. These older dogs, who once knew love, now find themselves surrounded by cold concrete and uncertainty.

For many of them, the wait for a second chance feels endless. And too often, that chance never comes.

That’s exactly what happened to one senior dog in Kansas until a small act of kindness reminded her that she was still loved.
