Two premises have been closed down following an investigation into suspected human trafficking across multiple counties.

The investigation led to six people being arrested and seven women safeguarded following the warrants being carried out.

The arrests followed raids which were carried out on premises operating as massage parlours suspected to be offering sexual services.

Wiltshire Police said in a statement issued on Friday night (October 17): "We have successfully obtained two closure orders for premises in Chippenham town centre following warrants conducted yesterday (October 16).
