The federally mandated annual security reports for seven New Mexico colleges and universities are out, painting a picture of crime and safety policies at institutions across the state.
Motor vehicle theft, burglary and domestic violence were some of the most prevalent campus offenses last year, while the University of New Mexico, by enrollment the state’s largest university by far, emerged as the school with the highest amount of crime in every category.
