FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - If you have outdoor plans during the first half of the day on Saturday, they shouldn’t be impacted much by the weather, but it’s the second half of the day, and on Sunday, that we’ll be dealing with rain and a few thunderstorms.

Temperatures in the afternoon on Saturday will climb to about 80 degrees, which is good for outdoor plans, but helps add energy to the atmosphere to potentially change rain showers to thunderstorms during the evening hours. At this time, rain will be fairly hit-and-miss between 4 and 6pm on Saturday, becoming more widespread beyond 8pm on Saturday.

There is a low chance, but not zero, that a thunderstorm turns severe with the primary concern being damaging winds.

On Sunday, rain showers will continue, off-and-on, through the entire day.
