FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Today temperatures are on the rise and set to return to the 70s this afternoon with increasing cloud coverage. It will lead to a nice night for high school football.
All eyes are on the weekend however, as rain showers are set to arrive tomorrow along with a cold front that will cool temperatures down for next week. Expect showers and storms possible Saturday night, and more rain showers pick up towards the late morning and afternoon on Sunday.
As for main threats this weekend, isolated flash flooding is possible due to the dry ground and chance for heavy rainfall over the weekend.
