It was a spectacular day of baseball yesterday, Seattle and Toronto kicking things off with a thriller, and Shohei Ohtani putting on a Friday night show to cinch their second-consecutive pennant. After a long year of ups and downs, it’s once again the Dodgers who capture the pennant, and they’ll await a winner from the AL side of the bracket. It’ll be a light day on the site today as the playoff schedule takes a breather. Peter will have the recaps in the morning of last night’s games, while in the afternoon, Maximo will run the results week’s SB Nation polls, which asked which of the Yankees’ impending free agents is least likely to end up back in pinstripes.
