A New London man was convicted on robbery, larceny and firearm charges Friday in connection with a 2023 carjacking.
A New London Superior Court jury found 32-year-old Victor Hall guilty of first-degree robbery, third-degree robbery, second-degree larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a firearm, according to the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice .
Court records show that, on March 10, 2023, officers from the New London Police Department received a report about a carjacking and notified nearby departments. When Waterford Police Department officers observed a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle, they attempted to stop the driver, later identified as Hall.
According to court records, Hall engaged the police in pursuit and eventually crashed
