GREENSBORO, N.C. — Gate City 180 is hosting its annual "Crop Over" resource fair today to provide crucial support for those facing homelessness in the Triad.
The event, which will take place at 1002 South Eugene Street at 10:30 a.m., aims to help individuals access vital resources to rebuild their lives. Dana Mac Daughtry Jr., founder and executive director of Gate City 180, says the organization's mission is rooted in helping people make a "180-degree turn" in their lives.
“We're going to set up like an employment fair, there will be with different tables offering information and resources," Daughtry explained. "I love giving out items, but I want to give people the information they can actually use to help change their lives.
