MOORHEAD — Buddy's Parfait will close for the season Sunday, Nov. 16.

Brandee LeNoue purchased the eatery that formerly did business as the Tastee Freez and The Freez at 410 19th St. S. earlier this year.

LeNoue told The Forum she considers their first season a success.

It went "very well. I feel super blessed. We are super excited for next season," LeNoue said Wednesday, Nov. 15.

The feedback she received this summer let LeNoue know they're on the right track, she added.

"People tell me the ice cream is just as good (as before). I just had a lady come in and buy 6 or 7 Bonnie bars. She knew Duane (former owner Duane "Dr. Freeze" Elofson) and said these are even better" than those available from the Tastee Freeze.

She received many compliments on the rest of the menu as well.
