JACKSON — According to Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard, a seventh victim has died in the case of the Leland mass shooting.

Ebony Williams, 25, was pronounced dead at UMMC Friday evening as a result of her injuries, Howard said.

The FBI has nine people in custody in connection with the mass casualties event, and has offered a $5000 reward for any information leading to the identification and rest of anyone involved.

Authorities said 26 people were injured during the incident, including 19 with gunshot wounds.

The shooting took place last Friday night after Leland‘s homecoming at a yearly event that’s held on Main Street.
