SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) -- Sioux Falls police say a suspicious vehicle that was dropped off in a handicapped parking space near the federal courthouse in downtown Sioux Falls Friday did not contain explosives.

Police say the vehicle was stolen.

The vehicle was left near the site of Saturday's No Kings rally that's expected to draw thousands of people downtown.

The area was closed after a specially-trained dog alerted to explosives inside the vehicle.

The Sioux Falls bomb squad responded and determined that the vehicle did not contain explosives.

The area has since been deemed safe to the public.
