TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. — UPDATE: The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office says thanks to tips and the public's help, Brittany Travasos was found safe Saturday and is being evaluated by medical staff. She was missing from St. Helena Parish since Sept. 25.

Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman from St. Helena Parish who was last believed to be in Tangipahoa Parish.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said Brittany Travasos (Barlow), 37, was reported missing to the St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 29 after relatives had not heard from her since Sept. 25. Investigators have identified several locations in the Ponchatoula area where she was last known to have been or seen.
