Adam Taggart hit the scoresheet and the son of a club legend produced some dazzling moments but Perth Glory blew a 2-0 lead on the way to a 2-2 draw with Wellington Phoenix in Perth.
Glory made a dream start to Saturday night's A-League Men match, with goals for new recruit Jaiden Kucharski and Taggart inside 30 minutes putting the home side in complete control.
Wellington's Nigerian recruit Ifeanyi Eze pulled one back for the visitors in first-half stoppage time, and scores were level in the 70th minute when former Glory midfielder Carlo Armiento fired home at the far post.
