Michigan football needs to stop the slide.
After suffering a demoralizing 31-13 loss at USC last week , the Wolverines (4-2 overall, 2-1 Big Ten) return home to face Washington (5-1, 2-1) for the third time in three seasons. Last year, the Huskies beat Michigan, 27-17, at Husky Stadium in a rematch of the 2023 national championship game.
Washington, who finished last year 6-7, figures to be an even tougher test for Michigan this year. The Huskies are 5-1 and coming off strong wins over Maryland and Rutgers. Washington quarterback Demond Williams currently holds the third-highest QBR in the conference and was recently compared to Kyler Murray by Ohio State defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
