STRONGSVILLE, Ohio -- Thousands of Northeast Ohioans are voicing their opposition to President Donald Trump at more than a dozen No Kings rallies across the region today.
Shirley Pallaise, 74, of Strongsville, said when she thinks of Trump she thinks of her grandchildren, pining for a better world for them.
“I want them to grow up the way I had with the same opportunities that I had growing up,” she said during the rally at Pearl Road and Ohio 82. “I need to fight for them, myself and everyone.”
The crowd chanted, waved signs and marched around the Strongsville Commons.
More than 2,600 rallies are planned Saturday in cities large and small, organized by hundreds of coalition partners. In Northeast Ohio, they range from Elyria to Akron to Solon.
