Family says ICE broke door, detained 2 Gresham men while seeking someone else

GRESHAM, Ore. — On Wednesday afternoon, federal agents broke down a bedroom door and took two men into custody at an apartment on 190th Avenue in Gresham. This widely shared interaction, captured on camera, came about an hour after officers arrived outside, calling for a different person to exit the home.

In the video, one masked agent breaks down the door, and others rush into the frame, displaying guns, and telling those inside to put their hands up. In Spanish, they demand the family walk over, as a baby cries in the background. The two men are ushered down the hallway, while the woman recording is told to go in another bedroom.
