Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather in Portland today as part of the No Kings demonstrations , which are being held across the country to protest President Donald Trump’s aggressive exercise of executive power.
Demonstrations will be held in more than 50 cities across Oregon. The one starting at Portland’s Tom McCall Waterfront Park is expected to be the largest one. Speeches will start at noon followed by a march of about 2 miles that reportedly will cross the Morrison and Hawthorne bridges.
