Opponents of President Donald Trump ’s administration took to the streets of communities large and small across Oregon on Saturday.

The " No Kings" rallies were expected to draw tens of thousands of participants across the state.

Demonstrations were held in more than 50 cities and towns across Oregon.

People lined high-traffic areas in their towns and neighborhoods to express their frustration with the Trump administration.

West Linn resident Mary Jo Carson joined a group of 870 on Salamo Road. She held a sign that read, “Leaders lead with respect, not fear and oppression.”
