Chattanooga police arrested a 29-year-old woman early Friday morning after a violent altercation at a bar downtown.

Officers responded to Shady's Corner on Cemetery Avenue just before 3:00am after a manager called stating a few women were fighting on the property, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.

After asking around, police identified a woman thought to be the "main aggressor" of the fight: 29-year-old Demertria Jaqhuita Brown.

Police say she was in a car with another woman, and they were trying to leave the scene. Officers knocked on the back windows, flashed their flashlights, and yelled at them to stop, but they didn't until they banged on the driver's window.
