SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that two people are dead following a crash in Spartanburg County.
Officials said that at approximately 2:58 a.m. Saturday morning, a 200 Ford SUV was traveling east on Old Furnace Road near Southland Avenue. The vehicle veered off the right side of the road, where the car struck a ditch, overturned, and struck a tree.
Both the driver and passenger of the car are confirmed dead. Their identities have not yet been released.
This remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
