SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports two victims were killed in a crash in Spartanburg County on Saturday.
SCHP said a 2000 Ford SUV, traveling east on Old Furnace Road near Southland Avenue, went off the right side of the road. The vehicle then hit a ditch, overturned and hit a tree.
The driver and passenger were killed in the crash, according to troopers. They have not yet been identified.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigation.
