1. The Weeks non-factor
Linebacker Whit Weeks is the heart of LSU’s defense. Being without him Saturday because of an ankle injury really showed for the Tigers. Vanderbilt has a well-crafted offense led by the heart of its team, Diego Pavia. Against him, LSU frequently lost containment and struggled to get off the field on third (and fourth) down. Vanderbilt ended up with 399 total yards and was a combined 8 of 16 on third and fourth down.
2. Hustle but no flow
