PENOBSCOT COUNTY, Maine — The Penobscot County Sheriff's office is investigating two unrelated, subsequent car crashes that happened Friday evening in Greenbush and Old Town, both involving alleged criminal conduct.
Deputies first responded to a domestic disturbance in Greenbush, according to a social media post from the sheriff's office. By the time deputies arrived, one person had already left the property.
The sheriff's office sent an alert to nearby law enforcement agencies to find the suspect.
A short lime later, officers with the Old Town Police Department located the vehicle connected to the disturbance and attempted a traffic stop, the post said. Instead of stopping, the driver reportedly crashed into a home.
