EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville residents were among the thousands of people across the nation taking part in No Kings protests on Saturday.

Hundreds of people showed up near the Evansville Civic Center, many with signs expressing opposition to President Donald Trump.

There was also a small group of the President’s supporters who joined in a counter protest.

Our Leslie Chapman spoke with both sides and will have reports tonight on 14 News.

A few other No Kings protests were in the Tri-State Saturday, including one in Muhlenberg County.
