BOSTON — It was a historic day for the UConn football program at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, as the Huskies earned their first ever road victory at Boston College, 38-23.

After trailing by three points at halftime, UConn dominated the second half, 21-3. The Huskies improve to 5-2 this season and have won four straight, while Boston College falls to 1-6.

UConn quarterback Joe Fagnano, a seventh-year senior, continued his excellence after he was one of eight players at his position to be recognized as a Manning Award Star of the Week on Oct. 6 for his previous performance against FIU.
