(KRON) — Thousands of people are gathering around the Bay Area Saturday as part of the second “No Kings” protest held across the U.S. in opposition of President Donald Trump’s political actions.
“The president thinks his rule is absolute,” the website for the nationwide protest reads. “But in America, we don’t have kings and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty."
Local protesters are rallying in Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Calistoga, Cotati, Corte Madera, El Cerrito, Fremont, Half Moon Bay, Hayward, Healdsburg, Hercules, Mill Valley, Milpitas, Napa, Novato, Oakland, Pacifica, Palo Alto, Petaluma Redwood City, San Francisco, San Jose, San Leandro, San Rafael, Sausalito, Sunnyvale, Union City and Vallejo.
