MINNESOTA, USA — Thousands of people have taken to the streets of the Twin Cities, joining the 'No Kings' protests on Saturday.

People holding signs such as "No Kings Since 1776" and "Power of the People, not the People in Power" were seen in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.

In the Twin Cities, dozens gathered on the bridges, in the streets, and throughout parks, and many were seen wearing inflatable costumes.

The largest 'No Kings' protest in the Gopher State was held at The Commons Park outside of U.S. Bank Stadium. U.S. Senator Tina Smith and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison both spoke about defending democracy.
