Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, the telecom arm of Reliance Industries , reported an average revenue per user (ARPU) of ₹211.40 for the July-September quarter, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

Jio’s ARPU is a closely watched metric among investors, as it directly influences revenue and profitability in India’s highly competitive telecom sector.

The company posted an ARPU of ₹208.80 in the previous quarter and ₹195.10 a year ago.

The rise in ARPU was driven by a growing subscriber base and steady growth in data consumption.

"I wouldn't be surprised, by the end of the financial year, that is the fourth quarter, the current ARPU of ₹211 moves to somewhere in the closed vicinity of around ₹220 so that would be, I think the first key takeaway that one could see,"
