FORT WORTH, Texas (KLTV) - Former San Augustine Wolf Kevorian Barnes rushed for over 100 yards and scored two times in TCU’s 42-36 win over Baylor on Saturday.
It’s the second time this season that the senior has rushed for over 100 yards.
Barnes finished with 106 yards rushing on 25 carries and two touchdowns. Barnes’ first score came in the second quarter. Barnes punched it in from five yards out to cap off a 2 play, 17-yard drive to put the Horned Frogs ahead 14-7. Barnes scored the final touchdown for the Horned Frogs with 6:04 left in the game. He ran it in from 14 yards out to put TCU ahead 42-21. Defensively, Perry Cole Jr. (Palestine) and Julius Simms (Whitehouse) each had a tackle.
TCU (5-2, 2-2) heads to Morgantown, West Virginia, next week for a meeting with the Mountaineers.
