1LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ — A heartfelt call for help turned into an overwhelming wave of generosity this week after the Associated Humane Societies’ Lacey branch asked the public for food donations for its shelter animals.
Within just 48 hours, more than 100 packages arrived filled with dog food, cat food, treats, and supplies, completely restocking the Forked River facility.
Staff said the outpouring of support exceeded all expectations, allowing them to not only meet their own needs but also distribute supplies to other AHS locations across the state.
