The Detroit Pistons aren’t nearing extensions on two of their rising fourth-year players, according to a recent report from The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer .
Center Jalen Duren and guard Jaden Ivey are both set to become restricted free agents at the end of the coming 2025-26 season. And with the deadline for rookie extensions coming up on Monday, Fischer doesn’t see there being a likelihood either deal gets done.
“Can’t say extensions for Jaden Ivey or Jalen Duren in Detroit, as we speak, look especially likely either,” the report says. “Sources say neither first-round pick for the Pistons has generated much momentum on a new deal with Detroit to this point in the process.”
