DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Duluth ‘No Kings’ rally was one out of an estimated 2,500 around the nation.

Rally cries could be heard from the streets of Duluth, as roughly 5,000 people from the Duluth area marched to City Hall for the rally.

People came with posters, flags, and even costumes.

But, they said, the point was not to dress up. It was to raise their voices against the division they see across the nation.

“We’re all Americans, and I don’t know why we’re so divided,” said attendee Lila White. “It is absolutely terrifying to me.”

To stand up against this divide, four Duluth political groups brought the national ‘No Kings’ rally to the city.

Speakers and musical performances shared what they believe the Trump administration is violating within the country.
