CARBONDALE — What should the future of Carbondale look like? That’s the topic of a public economic forum on Oct. 21 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and everyone is invited to attend and offer recommendations.

The Future of Carbondale Economic Forum and Panel Discussion is set for 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Lawson Hall, Room 231. The free event will focus on the factors and elements that are shaping Carbondale, its economy and its business environment and the impact the city and SIU have on one another. Refreshments will follow the forum.
