A man has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and drunk driving charges in connection with a crash that killed a 5-year-old girl and her mom in Franklin , Massachusetts, on Memorial Day weekend.

James Blanchard, 22, was ordered held in jail on $250,000 cash bail following his arraignment in Norfolk Superior Court on Friday, District Attorney Michael Morrissey announced. Blanchard is facing two counts of manslaughter while driving under the influence of alcohol, and one count of driving under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury.
