There was no road hangover Saturday for No. 8 Oregon at Rutgers following last week’s disappointing loss to No. 3 Indiana.

The Ducks obliterated the Scarlet Knights 56-10 at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, N.J., overcoming an ominous beginning to make a mockery of this Big Ten matchup.

Oregon (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten), which looked out of sorts on offense a week ago against Indiana, put on one of the most explosive offensive displays of the Dan Lanning era.

The Ducks, who scored just three offensive touchdowns during their previous eight quarters, scored 49 points in the first half against Rutgers on the way to amassing 750 yards of total offense.

The 750 yards is the third highest total for an FBS team this season.
