PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) - Bradley men's and women's basketball held their annual Red/White scrimmages.

The Peoria Rivermen and Bloomington Bison won their respective season openers Saturday night. Peoria defeated archrival Quad Cities Storm on the road 5-1.

At the Big 12 cross country meet, Notre Dame's Lillian Chaddock took home the gold medal with Bloomington winning the team title. PND's Maxwell Kirby won the boys race and the Irish also won the team title with six runners in the top ten.

In the Heart of Illinois meet, Eureka took home both team titles and won the individual races with Sierra Herrmann and Gavin Stalter.

Limestone also won their own volleyball tournament.
