The AFL’s trade period might be over, but emerging Gold Coast superstar Bailey Humphrey has dropped a spicy postscript on a week or so of controversy.

Humphrey created a stir during the trade period as he shopped himself around in Victoria despite his contract with the Suns.

Humphrey’s manager Michael Oakes was also under fire after saying that his young client had not spoken to anyone ... only to be caught out hours later when a photo emerged showing Humphrey meeting with Melbourne coach Stephen King and assistant Nathan Jones .
