Team India take on Australia in a three-match ODI series down under with the first game of the challenge beginning today at the Optus Stadium.

Aussie skipper Mitch Marsh won the coin toss and opted to field first as Shubman Gill leads the Men in Blue, who have Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returning for them.

Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been handed his debut on the day and was given the traditional cap by former skipper Rohit. For Australia, Matt Renshaw and Mitchell Owen were handed their ODI debuts with the iconic Shaun Marsh handing Renshaw the cap while Tim David did the honours for Owen.
