Nagpur : The mortal remains of Javed Akhtar , owner of Gulshan Plaza , and his wife Nadira Akhtar , who both tragically died in a road accident in Italy on October 3 , will arrive in Nagpur today.

The couple met with the accident while traveling in Italy, which claimed both their lives. Family sources confirmed that the bodies are expected to reach Nagpur between 4:00 and 4:30 PM on Sunday . The funeral will be conducted the same evening at Mominpura Cemetery .

Relatives said their son Jazel Akhtar and younger daughter Sheefa Akhtar have recovered from the incident and have already returned to Nagpur. Their elder daughter Arzoo Akhtar is still undergoing treatment in an Italian hospital and is expected to return in about 10 days .
